Does everybody dream?

Yes, indeed. Studies have shown that we experience our most vivid dreams during a type of sleep called Rapid Eye Movement (REM). During REM sleep the brain is very active, the eyes move back and forth rapidly under the lids, and the large muscles of the body are relaxed. REM sleep occurs every 90-100 minutes, 3 to 4 times a night, and lasts longer as the night progresses.

Rev Pastor Gerald Hugo

Why Do We Dream?

Job 33:14 NLT

But God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it.

We can dream either because of the many thoughts in our mind, the discomfort in our body, evil torment, or God communicating with us. Most of our dreams can be messages from God. It’s one of the ways God speaks to us.

When we are too busy to hear the voice of the spirit in our waking moments, God talks to us when our bodies are asleep. Our spirit never sleeps.

God’s ultimate purpose is to get us to walk in close fellowship with Him even in our waking moments.
